In one of the year’s most hotly anticipated announcements, Radiohead has confirmed they will return to Australia in May and June 2027, their first visit in fifteen years.

Radiohead will perform sixteen shows across the country through May and June, beginning with four nights at Perth’s RAC Arena from Monday 3 May. They will continue to Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and Sydney’s Afterpay Arena for six shows each, wrapping the tour on Tuesday 1 June.

The shows follow a series of residencies played in European cities in November and December last year.

Radiohead are widely regarded as one of the most iconic and influential bands of the modern era. Across nine studio albums – spanning Pablo Honey (1993) to A Moon Shaped Pool (2016) – Radiohead have pushed boundaries, experimented and evolved, a touchstone for all that is fearless and adventurous in rock.

Radiohead are legends of the stage, renowned for a live show that is intense, immersive, and delivers a uniquely brilliant music experience. Last in Australia in 2012, they will make their long-awaited return in May and June 2027.

To help give fans fair access to tickets and minimise automated and unauthorised purchases, access to the Radiohead Australian ticket sale will be managed through a registration process for both general and accessible tickets.

Registrations open at 5pm AEST on Monday 7 September 2026 and close at 5pm AEST on Thursday 10 September 2026. Every registration completed during this period will be treated the same no matter what time it is received.

Following the announcement that global superstar Bruno Mars has expanded his record-breaking The Romantic Tour once again to include Australia and New Zealand in 2027, comes a fourth and final Sydney show, to meet the incredible demand from fans.

This new date is Tuesday 9 March at Accor Stadium in Sydney – bringing the total to 15 stadium shows across the region.

The Australia and New Zealand announcement follows extraordinary demand for The Romantic Tour, which delivered the largest single-day ticket sales in Live Nation history across North America, Europe, and the UK, while setting a new Ticketmaster record with 2.1 million tickets sold in a single day.

The tour follows the arrival of Bruno Mars’ long-awaited fourth solo album, The Romantic, which was the biggest debut album of his career. The project officially debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking his first album ever to premiere at the top spot, and second No. 1 album on the chart after Unorthodox Jukebox in more than a decade. LA band Automatic approached their third album with a dark sense of humour and a renewed sense of momentum. Izzy Glaudini (synths, vocals) and Halle Saxon (bass, vocals) believe messages of change land best with a backbeat and a cheeky groove - and on their new album Is It Now?, they ask us to confront the world’s oppressive structures with fresh urgency. For Is It Now?, Automatic collaborated with producer Loren Humphrey (Cameron Winter, Nice As Fuck, Arctic Monkeys), building on the minimalist, danceable sound of Signal and Excess. Where earlier records leaned more grid-based, this album was made live and loose - favouring long takes and a rhythm section that breathes. Perky grooves and affable pop melodies act as a Trojan horse for playful political commentary; it may take a few listens to realize that the pulsing bassline, stabbing synths, and sci-fi FX of ‘mq9’ are meant to echo the sound of drone bombs.

The band wanted the record to sit comfortably alongside artists like A Certain Ratio or Air. On ‘Don’t Wanna Dance,’ they nod to late-’70s British scenes shaped by Caribbean music, where dub collides with punk and funk slips into motorik grooves. ‘Smog Summer’ draws inspiration from Patrick Cowley (also an influence on ‘NRG’ from Excess), grounding its environmental message in a disco thrum. Unsparing in their critique - of automated warfare (‘mq9’), mindless consumerism (‘Is It Now?’), and the political influence of oil (‘The Prize’) - Is It Now? also offers ways forward: dancing, resisting, coming together, falling in love. Like its title, the album doesn’t claim to have all the answers, but it might inspire better questions - or at least get you dancing yourself awake while searching.

Announced today, Chicago punk quartet Rise Against will tour to Australia and New Zealand, joined by Boston’s rock ‘n’ roll underdogs turned champions, Dropkick Murphys.

Produced by Live Nation, this year will see Rise Against tour with Dropkick Murphys tour in November and December to Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. The tour kicks off in Aotearoa, New Zealand where they play at Otautahi, Christchurch’s Wolfbrook Arena on 21 November and at Tamaki Makaurau, Auckland’s Spark Arena on 24 November before heading to Australia. Today, conceptual band La Dispute announce local supports for their No One Was Driving the Car Australian headline tour, which will be hitting our shores October 2026. The band have also added a second show in Melbourne at 170 Russell on October 20, tickets are on sale now. La Dispute will be promoting their latest album No One Was Driving The Car, released in September of 2025 via Epitaph Records.

The headline tour sees La Dispute kick it off at the Astor Theatre in Perth on October 16, then over to Victoria for sold out shows at Singing Bird in Frankston on October 18 and 170 Russell in Melbourne on October 19, with a second Melbourne show added on October 20th. Due to overwhelming demand, Two Door Cinema Club have expanded their upcoming Australian tour to include a second and final show at Sydney’s iconic Hordern Pavilion. The first Sydney show sold out within days, underscoring the enduring love for the band and their era-defining debut album, Tourist History. Fans can experience the record performed in full, alongside a selection of their most celebrated hits, all around Australia this November.

Released in 2010, Tourist History launched Two Door Cinema Club onto the global stage with electrifying hits like ‘What You Know’, ‘Something Good Can Work’ and ‘Undercover Martyn’. The album’s catchy guitar hooks, irresistible rhythms and dancefloor beats quickly made it a staple of the indie-dance scene.

In what will no doubt be a very special run of shows, Two Door Cinema Club have invited The Vaccines on tour as their special guests, to perform their breakthrough record What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? for its 15th anniversary. Having burst out of London with their album packed with high-energy classics such as ‘If You Wanna’, ‘Post Break-Up Sex’ and ‘Wetsuit’, its raw, infectious sound helped cement the band as one of the UK’s most exciting guitar acts.

Fifteen years on, Two Door Cinema Club’s Tourist History is lauded as an era-defining album, forming the sound track to late night parties, dancefloors and festivals around the world, while The Vaccines What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? remains a touchstone of 2000s indie-rock. Northern Ireland’s Two Door Cinema Club formed in 2007 and have since released five hugely successful records, as well as sold out shows and headlined festivals across the globe, with fans flocking to hear their unique blend of guitar-driven post-punk hooks paired with electronic, danceable beats. Two Door Cinema Club first gained attention with their 2010 debut album Tourist History containing their break out singles ‘What You Know’, ‘Something Good Can Work’ and ‘Undercover Martyn’, which took them from their garage in Bangor, where they wrote their iconic album, to main stages of festivals around the world.

The band have continued to evolve, peaking at #2 in the UK’s official Albums Chart with 2012’s follow-up album, Beacon, and then with Giorgio Moroder-esque disco and synth pop on 2016’s Gameshow, paving the way for 2019’s new wave-inspired False Alarm and 2022’s Keep On Smiling, which have all landed in the top 10 of the UK charts. Off the back of that, the band embarked on a sold out 30-date amphitheatre tour of the United States in 2024, with the band finishing the year with a sold-out Australian arena tour culminating in an incredible performance at the iconic Sydney Opera house forecourt. As one of the defining indie-rock bands of the 21st century, Death Cab for Cutie have spent the last 30 years defying every possible expectation.

Formed in 1997 in Bellingham, Washington, Death Cab for Cutie were initially the quintessential underdog college-radio act, anchored by co-founder, frontman, and lead songwriter Ben Gibbard’s achingly earnest, erudite (yet still accessible) lyricism that drew inspiration from ‘80s alternative tastemakers The Smiths, The Cure, second-wave emo progenitors Sunny Day Real Estate, lo-fi acoustic hero Elliott Smith, Northwest contemporaries Modest Mouse, and introspective rock heads Built To Spill.

Nearly three decades after Gibbard recorded his bare-bones debut cassette, You Can Play These Songs With Chords, and completed the DCfC lineup comprising original guitarist and producer Chris Walla (later replaced by Dave Depper on guitar and Zac Rae on keyboards), bassist Nick Harmer, and drummer Jason McGerr, DCfC have grown from underground indie contenders to pillars of the modern alternative-rock landscape.

As DCfC get prepare to enter a new era, complete with a return to their indie roots by joining ANTI- Records and readying new music for 2026, Gibbard opens up about what inspires him to keep creating and evolving as an artist. “I just love the feeling of being in a room having just made something that I'm proud of. I can't imagine wanting to do anything else,” Gibbard says. “This is literally what I've wanted to do since I was 12 years old. And the fact that I've been given the opportunity to do it, I feel that I have an obligation to my 12-year-old self to continue to do this and find the joy in it, and to experience the odd wonder of what it's like to create things.”

It’s the news fans have been waiting for: following the release of his acclaimed fifth studio album, Deadbeat, Tame Impala – the visionary project of Kevin Parker – is returning to Australia, today announcing four huge arena shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth this October.

Kevin Parker has emerged as one of the most influential voices of the last decade. Marking a bold new musical chapter, Deadbeat (listen here) arrived in late 2025 led by three killer singles: ‘Loser’, ‘End of Summer’ and ‘Dracula’ – the latter earning Parker his biggest debuts yet at US radio, and landing in at number three on this year’s triple j’s Hottest 100, almost 20 years since Tame Impala’s first appearance in the poll. As a newly six-piece touring band, Tame Impala kicked off the Deadbeat tour with 12 sold-out shows across North America last October and November, with a UK/European tour set to begin this April. Esha Tewari is a 19-year-old alternative singer-songwriter who has rapidly ascended from her bedroom recordings to international acclaim. Esha grew into the spotlight, attracting her Gen Z cult-like fanbase through hauntingly emotional, heartfelt writing and ear-worm melodies. With millions of active fans known as the 'Tewarians,' Esha connects with her audience at a personal level, like ripping out a page from their diary, resonating deeply with her audience world wide.

Her breakthrough came in 2024 when debut single "with ease" gained traction on TikTok, followed by her iconic voice-memo track "beautiful boy" which grabbed the attention of her earliest fans, saying everything they wanted to say but couldn’t. In January 2025, she released her viral single "you were mine," from her third EP “wraith” garnering praise from her fanbase and the independent music community.
