FOO FIGHTERS TO PLAY ONE-NIGHT-ONLY INTIMATE SHOW AT CROWN LIVE

FOO FIGHTERS TO PLAY ONE-NIGHT-ONLY INTIMATE SHOW AT CROWN LIVE

One of the world’s biggest rock bands is coming to Crown Melbourne’s newest entertainment venue. For one unforgettable evening, Foo Fighters will play an exclusive and intimate show at Crown LIVE on 16 November, bringing their stadium-filling sound and energy to a venue designed for unforgettable up-close moments.

Known for selling out and headlining the world’s biggest venues and festivals, Foo Fighters will wrap up the Melbourne leg of their ‘Take Cover’ Australian Tour with one final, extraordinary show – performing for just 1,250 lucky fans in an historic one-night-only event.

Access to highly sought-after tickets will be offered to the public and Crown Rewards members, who can register their interest now at https://www.crownmelbourne.com.au/foofighters. Following the one-week registration period, successful entrants will be selected via demand allocation and invited to secure tickets through Ticketmaster.

Crown Melbourne CEO, Ed Domingo, said bringing a band of Foo Fighters’ stature to Crown LIVE captures the venue’s ambition to deliver ground-breaking entertainment experiences that can’t be found anywhere else.

“Foo Fighters are renowned for filling stadiums across the globe, so the opportunity to see them up close in such an intimate venue as Crown LIVE is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” Mr Domingo said.

“We believe the measure of a great venue isn’t the size of the crowd it can hold, but the calibre of experience it can create for the people in the room. This is exactly the kind of event Crown LIVE was designed to deliver.”

Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl said the band is excited by the opportunity to perform in such a unique setting.

“There’s something electric about stripping it all back and getting closer to the fans. We play some of the biggest venues in the world, so the chance to play a club show and share that energy packed into smaller spaces with sweat dripping off the ceiling and walls is something that always excites us.”

Beyond Foo Fighters, Crown LIVE will deliver an entertainment lineup unlike any other Australian venue. The growing calendar spans globally recognised comedy, music, Broadway musicals and Vegas-style residencies, with Russell Peters, Ashanti, Elf The Musical, The Choir of Man and ‘A Special Evening with Christian Horner’ all set to take the stage. From arena-filling music icons and Grammy Award winners to Broadway favourites, feel-good theatre shows and internationally acclaimed live productions, the breadth of programming reflects Crown LIVE’s ability to deliver premium entertainment for every audience.

The opening of Crown LIVE follows an exciting lineup of announcements as part of Crown Melbourne’s $200 million transformation, reshaping the Southbank precinct into the ultimate next-generation destination for entertainment, dining and nightlife. With Crown LIVE sitting alongside incoming global dining names including Mott 32 and Victor Churchill, plus high-energy concepts such as Amaya Modern Mexican and Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, Crown is bringing together world-class food, live performance, bars and late-night experiences under one roof – giving guests more choice, more reasons to visit, and more ways to shape their night once it starts at Crown.

Registrations open today at https://www.crownmelbourne.com.au/foofighters and close 12 October 2026. Successful applicants will be notified on 21 October 2026.
